How to Sell My Timeshare? – Please Help Me ASAP!
Timeshare Questions Answered
Question: What is the best way to sell a timeshare?
I've been looking around on the Internet for a few weeks, I read a dummies book, and I'm still stumped. My brother told me that the BB has a lot of warnings to timeshare owners about resale scams and that is what is holding me up from jumping into this.But... I need to get rid of my timeshare! Please help and tell me where I should get started.
Thanks,
Tom Ruthen
Answer: Hi Tom! I hope you're having a good New Year.
I know it probably doesn't make you feel any better, but there are a lot of other sellers who are in your shoes right now.
The good news is that you can get an edge if you take a contrary approach to what other sellers are doing to sell. Most timeshare owners who are trying to sell are doing exactly what you did. They read a book, go on the Internet, and list their timeshare. Unfortunately, most of them never sell. I believe the reason is because they are competing with professional brokers who have a very good grasp and great deal of experience with the resale marketing. Not only that, but they also have to compete with a good number of listings that sell for as little as $1!
I could go into why I chose this service, but I've already talked about it before on here. I recommend that you take a look at this page over at resources site that I reference a lot. www.timesharesecrets.com is the site I'm talking about. Take a look at that page and contact the company if any of it is up your alley. They usually get back to me within a day or so. I've done some business with them in the past so I can put my neck on the line for their credibility.
Have a good day,
Denny

Been retired for 3 years now and we are loving it. We used to own a timeshare because we like to vacation near where our daughter lives, but maintenance fees were getting outrageous year after year.
At first, we had some trouble, but we finally figured out a good way to get rid of it. Any tips or information about our experience can be found over to the left hand side of our website. And please leave a comment if you have a question about anything.
