You have posted an ad of selling your time share at a price of $3000. But wait you get an offer of $6000 for the timeshare. I know at first it would feel great but beware and just think why in the world someone would pay a price more than you asked. The answer is that it is a false buyer or in other words a scam. Just ignore such bids in which you get a much higher bid than you asked.

Another scam that has been reported is the brainwashing. A person calls you at your number and says that he wants to meet you for the purchase of your timeshare. You go there and find 3 persons waiting for you. When you start discussing about your timeshare, they start saying all sorts of bad things about your timeshare like look at the location, the time no one would buy it except us no one will be purchasing it. And then they offer a very less price.

So beware of this as well. This is done to brainwash your mind and then give you a low price which you readily accept.
